The State Election Commissioner, in today’s public session, evaluated reports of public activities for the period January 26 – February 1, 2025.
At the end of the review, it was decided to approve the report of findings on public activities for the period January 26 to February 1, 2025 and to initiate administrative proceedings against:
- Puka Municipality.
- Peqin Local Education Office.
- Librazhd Municipality.
- Lezhë Local Police Directorate.
- Fier Local Police Directorate.
Today, the decision for the administrative review of the public activities of the Cërrik Municipality was announced, for the period January 19 – January 25, 2025. The Commissioner decided to discontinue the administrative investigation.
Also, the result of the verification of the Prosecutor General for the self-declared subject Mr. Erin Pjeter Gjoni, member of the Lezha Municipality Council, proposed by the electoral subject Social Democratic Party, for the elections for local government bodies on May 14, 2023. Taking into account the resignation of Mr. Gjoni from the function of councilor of the Lezha municipality, the Commissioner decided to suspend the administrative review.
