As part of the training for the administration of the elections for the Albanian Parliament, training with central and local leaders of the State Police began today.
The training began in the presence of the State Election Commissioner Ilirjan Celibashi, the OSCE Ambassador, Michel Tarran, the Deputy Prosecutor General Thoma Jano and the SPAK Prosecutor Klodjan Braho, and the opening of the proceedings was welcomed by the Director General of the State Police, Ilir Proda.
This training cycle will continue for Police employees at all levels, who will be engaged in duties during the electoral process, in accordance with the Electoral Code.
Around 140 senior and mid-level police officers, including the Deputy Director General, department directors, regional and border police directors, as well as police station chiefs and deputy regional directors, will undergo training from February 24 to 26. Then, from March 3 to 7, around 160 trainers will be trained, who will begin the chain training for around 6,000 police officers.
